JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse and Repairs Coordinator is a dynamic and integral part of the overall sales effort of Alaska Instrument Company. The Warehouse and Repairs Coordinator serves as the point of contact for customer service, repair and calibration as well as warehouse inventory and delivery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Embraces the mission of The Aleut Corporation and AIC.
• Performs duties and responsibilities with integrity, and in a professional, fair, opened minded and timely manner.
• Pick product from inventory to fill orders, verify correct part numbers and quantities.
• Complete pack slips for record keeping.
• Ensure proper packaging for safe shipping/delivery of merchandise.
• Organize inventory of all products.
• Assist in inventory management and perform yearly counts to verify accuracy of all merchandise inventory.
• Ensure all inbound freight is logged and identified, properly received and entered inventory.
• Perform all shipping services for the company (orders, documentation, repair items, etc.) including completion all shipping documentation and scheduling of freight pick-ups.
• Provide office staff and customers with shipping cost estimates.
• Periodic review of shipping rates to ensure most cost-effective method for the company.
• Execute all required “will call” pick-ups and customer deliveries.
• Transport, delivery, set up and breakdown of trade show booths and related demo units as needed.
• Perform minor facility maintenance around the offices and warehouse as needed.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed, schedule and ensure completion of scheduled maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups, etc.) on company van.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse. 
• Coordinate all outsourced repair and calibration services to include obtaining return authorizations from vendors, provide customers with cost estimates, lead times, and replacement costs for comparison purposes.
• Ensure shipping instructions requested by customers are met and repair services are completed in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• General knowledge of product lines.
• General knowledge of repair and calibration procedures.
• Knowledge of proper grammar and spelling, good vocabulary; editing and proofreading skills.
• Excellent writing, communication, listening, and inter-personal skills to work with and earn the respect of team members, internal and external.
• Ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced office setting.
• Ability to share skills and knowledge with others.
• Proficiency with general office equipment and Microsoft Office programs.
• Knowledge of process control instrumentation preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
2. Three (3) years’ experience in warehouse and/or service coordination OR equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
3. Valid Alaska Driver’s License.
