POSITION SUMMARY

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) oversees all operational functions of MTNT, ensuring effective management, strategic alignment, and organizational growth. Working closely with MTNT General Managers, the CEO drives corporate and operational strategies, establishes systems for performance and accountability, and ensures financial and operational efficiency, all in line with the Board of Directors’ policies and direction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Establishes and maintains credibility throughout MTNT, including with the Board of Directors and Shareholders, as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
  • Ensures that comprehensive and appropriate internal control mechanisms are recommended to and adopted by the Board of Directors to mitigate key risks.
  • Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within MTNT.
  • Represents MTNT with clients, customers, and business partners.
  • Provides leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of MTNT are put into practice.
  • Motivate and lead a high performance management team;
  • Maintains a positive and ethical work climate conducive to attracting, retaining, and motivating employees at all levels of MTNT.
  • Spearheads the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  • Drives the company to achieve and surpass its business goals and financial objectives.
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  • Collaborate with the general managers to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all internal and external processes;
  • Provides timely, accurate and complete reports to the Board of Directors on the operating conditions of MTNT.
  • Mentor direct reports to cultivate skills and to increase consciousness of the interrelationship between different sites.
  • Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and all aspects of MTNT’s market.
  • Responsible for capital planning and expenditures.
  • Establish compensation, training, short and long-term goals for the operations groups.
  • Represent the Company at various community activities.
  • Responsible for succession planning.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

· Master’s degree is preferred or commensurate professional experience.

· 7+ years’ experience in Operations is required

· Management experience is required, preferably within an Alaska Native corporation

· Experienced leader with appropriate industry experience preferably in the federal contracting field

· Small Business Administration 8(a) company experience, preferably with an Alaska Native corporation

· Possess a Top-Secret security clearance or able to obtain and maintain such a clearance

· U.S. citizen
