To reset your password, simply click the sign in button and you will be redirected to the login page.

  1. On the login page, click “Forgot password”

  2. Enter the email address provided at the time of sign up and we will send you an email link to reset your password shortly.
  3. We will email you a link to reset your password.
Didn’t receive the email? If an email is not received shortly after, check your spam folder. The email may have been flagged as spam accidentally.

What if I forgot which email address I used, or I don't have access to it? If you no longer have or remember the email address the account was created with, you can create a new Alaska Native Hire account with your current email address.

To change your password:

  2. Click "Step 1. Basic Information" in the left and select the gear above the Active Status on the right side of the panel.

Alaska Native Hire makes it simple and convenient to find that next job. Our search field will find jobs related to the key words you have chosen to search.

On the top of every page you’ll find our search bar. You can search by Job Title, Skills or Company, or any key words you think may be related to that dream job.

Keywords: These are skills or related certifications that may be relevant to the job that you are seeking. If you are seeking an accounting role “bank reconciliation” “accounts receivable” may be a useful keywords. You will see results related to the skills that may pertain to the role in which you are seeking.

Job Titles: Inputting specific job titles will return those jobs and jobs with related qualifications. Using “Bookkeeper” as an example will return all jobs with the title Bookkeeper or related positions, also other accounting related jobs may return.

Location: The majority of jobs on Alaska Native Hire will be within the state of Alaska. Simply input the city or zip code into the location. After the search results have been provided, you have the opportunity to expand or reduce the radius of the location.

Employers will search for you based on your qualifications. The sections they will most commonly search by are experience by titles, education, and licenses/certificates. Please be sure to complete these sections thoroughly. Under experience by titles, select any job titles (including similar positions) that you have held. Completing these sections thoroughly will increase your chances of employers finding you. Employers may also search by location, tribal affiliation and the type of employment they are looking to fill, i.e. full-time, seasonal, internship, etc. Note be visible to Employers your profile needs a first name, last name, and email address.
It is recommended to fill out your profile as close to 100% as possible to improve visibility to employers.

Ensure "Desired Industries" fields in Step 7 have been selected.

If you're not job hunting now, but you want to keep your Alaska Native Hire account, it is easy to suspend and re-active later. Suspending your account versus deleting it completely ensures you'll retain access to your stored Resume & information.

Follow these steps to switch from Active to Inactive - this will ensure that your resume cannot be found by employers, but lets you maintain your resume on Alaska Native Hire for safe keeping and future use:

  1. Click "Step 1. Basic Information" on the left.
  2. Select the gear object above the Active Status on the right side of the panel.
  3. Select the "Account Status" link for your public resume and update the Resume Visibility setting to “Inactive”
