Position Summary:
The College of Liberal Arts, English Department is seeking an Office Manager to oversee their day-to-day operations on the Troth Yeddha' campus in Fairbanks. This is a full-time, 9-month, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and a full employee benefits package. Duties:

Become part of the administrative team for the College of Liberal Arts where we value collaboration and mutual support. As Office Manager for the English Department in the College of Liberal Arts, you will provide essential administrative and academic support services for the department. The role requires a strong focus on technological skills, organization, communication, and great attention to detail. Tasks include administrative management of day-to-day operations for the entire department serving as a key contact point for students and faculty, coordinating departmental activities and contests, managing department calendars, scheduling meetings, submitting the course schedule, tracking student enrollment data and graduate applications as well overseeing budget and purchasing for the department.

The ideal candidate will be a customer service-oriented individual with superior organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills. The English Department is seeking a proactive professional with proficiency in the following programs Gmail (email and calendar), Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, DocuSign, and Zoom. The ideal candidate places a high value on teamwork, process efficiency, and delivering outstanding customer service. Including exceptional attention to detail, and ensuring accuracy in all administrative tasks. They are adept at problem-solving, swiftly addressing challenges as they arise, and are known for their ability to quickly learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma (or equivalent) and three years of progressively responsible office/administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Profeciency in Gmail, Word, Excel, Google Docs/Sheets, DocuSign and Zoom.

Experience using or ability to learn Banner and general accounting principles preferred. Testing for typing and computer program proficiency will be required before an offer is made.

Position Details:
