The Kuskokwim Corporation is hiring a full time Service Coordinator for our center in Aniak, AK.The Service Coordinator, under the supervision of the Program Director, manages the programs of the Arviiq Training Center and supports training and workforce development initiatives. This role ensures courses run efficiently by coordinating logistics, managing student enrollment, maintaining compliance and accurate data, and maintaining clear communication with the Program Director. The coordinator provides individualized support to participants, assists with workforce development goals, and serves as the point of contact for participants, instructors, and partner agencies, connecting individuals with opportunities to advance their careers and education.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Center Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to Arviiq Center programs.
  • Assist participants in navigating Arviiq and other service provider systems.
  • Manage registration and attendance forms and follow up with enrolled participants.
  • Assist with registration and intake of applications for programs and services.
  • Support recruitment efforts for upcoming training opportunities.
  • Help participants apply for trainings and funding and ensure that all required documentation is collected.
  • Maintain well-organized paper and digital student files.
  • Coordinate with Arviiq and TKC staff to ensure facility, supply and equipment needs are met.  Distribute lodging & training supplies as needed.
  • Support the planning and coordination of programs including logistical support.
  • Communicate with the TKC operations staff to ensure lodging facilities, employee house, meals and cooking staff are ready for trainings.
  • Maintain and update Arviiq Program inventory.
  • Coordinate with TKC outreach to ensure training opportunities are shared consistently.
  • Some travel as needed
  • Crosstrain with other TKC Departments
  • Other Duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Administrative experience with workforce development, program coordination, case management, or a related field preferred
  • Self-motived, dependable team member with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or able to learn relevant programs and data management systems
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high ethical standards
  • Become familiar with community resources and support services and provide referrals
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and procedural updates
  • Strong critical thinking skills
