Position Summary

Internal Maintenance ensures the casino remains clean, safe, and inviting for guests and staff. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing public areas, restocking supplies, addressing spills or hazards, and assisting with event setups or light maintenance. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a friendly, guest-focused attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide accurate directions and information to guests and maintain thorough knowledge of Chin’an Gaming Hall Casino.
• Perform all job functions with attention to detail, urgency, and accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and other front-of-house spaces.
• Conduct deep cleaning of carpeted areas as needed, including stain removal and vacuuming.
• Clean floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping in offices, casino floors, hallways, bathrooms, and other work areas.
• Dust furniture and ensure surfaces remain clean.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Disinfect trash and recycling containers regularly.
• Remove trash and snow from walkways when necessary.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as desks, counters, and door handles.
• Wash and clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Ensure restrooms are cleaned frequently, stocked with supplies, and maintained in excellent condition.
• Keep break rooms clean and organized, restocking supplies and emptying trash as needed.
• Perform biohazard cleanups following proper safety protocols.
• Maintain storage areas in a neat, organized, and well-stocked condition.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including preparation of event spaces.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies; request additional materials when needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Maintain cleaning logs or charts to document completed tasks and inspections.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of experience cleaning janitorial or housekeeping duties preferred.
• Must be able to use and understand proper chemical and supply handling.
• Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment such; vacuum, pan and broom, etc.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Must be able to communicate well and help guests and other Team Members.
• Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with Chin’an guests in a congenial and polite manner.
• Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 25 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks assigned.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, potentially loud environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to withstand various activities such as frequent walking, prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property.
