Job Title: Administrative Assistant II

What We Are Seeking: A self-motivated professional, who is an organizational wizard, to coordinate important meetings, take accurate minutes, disseminate tasks, and draft correspondence for the traditional council and Executive Director.Additional Responsibilities: You will work on a variety of special projects as assigned, including planning events, and will help with the creation of documentation associated with grant development and reporting.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:
•3 + years of administrative experience including working on complex tasks, special projects and supporting oneor more managers.
•Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and leadership skills; including the ability to work effectively withpeople from diverse backgrounds; establish and maintain cooperative relationships and work successfully as amember of a team.
•Excellent time management, problem-solving and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet sometimescompeting deadlines.
•Superb verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to function well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and embrace new or updated software and theability to accurately type 50 + WPM.
•A Highschool Diploma or GED is required.
•Qualified applicants may be asked to complete a skills demonstration.

Certificates and Licenses Required: A valid Alaska Driver’s license is required for this position and the ability to be insured on CVTC’s vehicle insurance policy. Background Check: This position requires you to complete and pass a pre-employment state and federal background check as a condition of employment.
