Working collaboratively with other healthcare providers, Community Health Aides, and first response teams, the Mid-Level Practitioner provides preventative, primary and emergency care to a wide variety of patients in EAT’s small, rural communities.
The incumbent is an integral part of the community in which he/she serves; commitment and dedication to continuity and quality of care is imperative for success. Likewise, innovative and creative problem solving, collaboration and patience, and determination are competencies that help define the ideal EAT practitioner. Join us!
This is a full-time position and can be located in Adak, Akutan, Cold Bay, King Cove, or False Pass.

To compete for this position, candidates must possess:
 Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant education/certification
 Alaska NP/PA License (eligible to receive upon first day of employment)
 No less than two (2) years of experience in Primary Care and/or Emergency Care
 ACLS certification
 Experience in tribal health or rural health care is preferred.
 Experience in rural cross culture setting is preferred.
Selected candidates may be eligible for relocation expense reimbursement and signing bonus. Full time employees receive a host of benefits, including malpractice insurance coverage and CEUs. All EAT sites qualify for loan repayment through the NHSC, I.H.S or SHARP.
