What You’ll Do
As a Carpenter, you'll perform advanced carpentry and remodeling work in occupied and vacant residential units while helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.

•    Perform advanced interior and exterior carpentry, remodeling, rehabilitation, and repair work.
•    Install and repair framing, doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, flooring, and other building components.
•    Perform advanced weatherization and energy-efficiency improvements, including insulation, air sealing, ventilation upgrades, and window and door replacement
•    Complete advanced drywall repair, finishing, texture matching, priming, and painting.
•    Install luxury vinyl plank flooring, underlayment, transitions, thresholds, and related finish materials.
•    Remove and reinstall basic plumbing fixtures as required to complete flooring and carpentry projects.
•    Read and interpret plans, specifications, sketches, measurements, and manufacturer instructions.
•    Plan assigned work, organize materials and tools, and monitor labor hours to meet project schedules.
•    Mentor and support team members and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently.

What We’re Looking For
Think you’ve got what it takes? Here’s what we’re after: 
•    Advanced knowledge of residential construction, remodeling, rehabilitation, weatherization, and repair practices. 
•    Strong skills in framing, finish carpentry, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, countertop installation, painting, and exterior repair work. 
•    Ability to independently plan work involving multiple tasks, phases, materials, labor hours, and changing field conditions.
•    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify hidden damage, changing field conditions, and project challenges, and determine their impact on quality, schedules, and project outcomes.
•    Willingness to share knowledge, mentor coworkers, and reinforce quality and safety expectations.
•    Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 85 pounds, climbing ladders, working in crawl spaces and attics, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

The Basics
Experience:
•    Four (4) years of experience in residential carpentry, construction, renovation, weatherization, or a closely related trade.
•    Demonstrated ability to independently plan and complete projects involving multiple work items, including material needs, labor estimates, sequencing, and changing field conditions.
•    Valid Driver’s License required.
