Delta Medical Transport is looking for a motivated, self-driven ALS provider who can work under the pressures and the environment of remote Alaska. DMT currently provides emergency (911) ground-based EMS-Emergency Medical Services response, treatment, and transport for several communities throughout Alaska. Applicants must be able to operate remotely with minimal supervision, be trustworthy, and possess strong leadership qualities.

Qualifications / Certifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• State of Alaska AEMT or EMT-III certification
• State of Alaska Paramedic license

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Possess a caring and compassionate attitude, displaying the highest level of respect and professionalism for patients, affiliated healthcare workers, co-workers, and management.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Have proficient working knowledge of emergency medical care at respective level.
• Be self-driven with a passion to provide quality care while maintaining patient privacy standards.
• Provide patient care according to clinical protocols and safety requirements.
• Operate in remote locations under adverse weather conditions.
• Act as team leader and take responsibility for scene safety and management.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with other response agencies.
• May be required to work at remote sites.

Salary:

$50,000 - $68,000 Based on experience and certifications
