Hello, we're Golden Valley Electric Association

GVEA is an electric cooperative which maintains 3,292 miles of transmission and distribution lines, 40 substations, and 9 generating facilities. Our system is interconnected with Fort Wainwright, Eielson AFB, Fort Greely, the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, and all of the electric utilities in the Alaska Railbelt, extending from Homer to Fairbanks. What would you do as a Member Service Representative - Billing

As a Full-Time Member Service Representative - Billing at Golden Valley Electric Association, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of member accounts. Your responsibilities will include accurately analyzing bills daily to meet posting deadlines, processing meter reading data, and posting daily readings for various route assignments. You will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of all newly installed location and meter data, while also processing adjustments to member accounts as requested. Additionally, you will handle member payments through various methods, including cash, check, and credit card, ensuring a seamless and efficient billing experience for our valued customers.

This position is key to maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction in the electric cooperative industry.
