Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, skilled, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. In this role, you will create memorable guest experiences by preparing and serving beverages with precision, professionalism, and a welcoming attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Responsible for the daily preparation, cutting, stocking, and storage of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
• Maintain proper and adequate setup of the bar for each shift or function, ensuring that all supplies, equipment, and ingredients are fully stocked.
• Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner while promoting and accurately documenting drink orders.
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences, always using proper portion control.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately, including making change, validating charges, recording receipts, and balancing all money to audit reports.
• Secure and lock up all beverages, food items, equipment, and cash banks at the end of each function or shift; complete necessary cash drops.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, glassware, tools, and surrounding work areas.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by a supervisor.
• Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to ensure a safe and responsible environment.
• Restock inventory and supplies throughout the shift as needed.
• Promote and upsell specialty drinks, cocktails, and food pairings to enhance guest experience and increase sales.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to acquire TAPS Card prior to employment
• High School Diploma and/or GED required.
• Previous bartending or hospitality experience required.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
