The University of Alaska Fairbanks Community and Technical College offers more than 50 one-year certificate and two-year associate degree programs in a variety of exciting fields. The Coordinator of Faculty Development within UAF CTC will serve as a liaison between CTC and the broader UAF Center for Teaching and Learning to curate contextually appropriate faculty development opportunities. This role will be instrumental in planning, scheduling, and evaluating faculty development initiatives that address the specific needs of CTC faculty and help keep them on the leading edge as they prepare students for Alaska's workforce.

To thrive in this role you will have a passion for community and technical college instruction! Your history of working in the area of faculty development and proficiency in technology and learning management systems will be crucial to your success in this position. Your strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills will be put to work on a daily basis as you work to support and development CTC's faculty in their endeavor to ensure student success!

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required in a relevant discipline (instructional design, higher education leadership, etc.). Advanced degree preferred.

5 years teaching experience at the community college level is preferred.

Position Details:

This position is located at the UAF Community and Technical College in Fairbanks. This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/support/prospectiveemployees.php.
