The University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) College of Liberal Arts is dedicated to fostering an environment of intellectual curiosity and critical thinking. In this role as Fiscal Technician, you will provide dedicated fiscal support to the Dean's Team and all CLA departments. The role requires a strong focus on fiscal and technological skills, organization, communication, and great attention to detail. The position is crucial in providing fiscal in-person support to our growing college. In this position, you will work closely with the CLA Dean's Team and all of our academic departments and programs to ensure the success of CLA.

To thrive in this fast-paced environment you will need to be organized, self-motivated, and work well under deadline. Excellent customer service and communication skills both oral and written are essential. We promote a friendly, upbeat work environment with a focus on service. Basic knowledge of accounting systems with the ability to analyze expenditure and revenue data and the ability to perform technical accounting functions and cost projections will be indispensable in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree in applied Accounting or related field and three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Troth Yhedda campus in Fairbanks, Alaska.
