Job Title: Computer and Network Support Specialist

Department: Information Technology

Status: Non-Exempt; Full-Time

Summary

The Network Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining desktop infrastructure and network support to multiple branch locations while delivering quality customer service skills to end-users in both top and bottom levels of the corporate structure.

Essential Functions

·         Maintain desktop infrastructure - Desktop updates, desktop anti-virus, specific company software, Microsoft software

·         Manage company-wide network infrastructure

·         Daily ‘Help Desk’ and customer support

·         Repair, rebuild and upgrade personal computer hardware and software

·         Evaluate, Plan and budget for IT systems with future functionality and cost in mind.

·         Will be required to be "on-call" to trouble-shoot, support and fix system outages

·         Other duties as assigned

Experience and Education Requirements

·         High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required

·         5 years or more of Technology experience

·         Experience with on-premise VoIP and/or Cloud VoIP

·         Experience with network technologies included but not limited to PoE, VLANs, VPN, switching technologies.

·         Progressive knowledge and experience with cloud computing, network infrastructure, desktop support, IT helpdesk, budgeting and project management.

·         Knowledge in Web Design and/or Web Page Maintenance is a PLUS

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
