Providence is calling a Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist I - Pmg Peds Neurosciences 

Essential Functions are as followed 

•Conducts detailed testing to include EEG, VEP, and NCV.

•Monitors END recording during procedure as indicated by policy and test situation.

•Anticipates the need of the physician and patient during the procedure and be able to communicate appropriately and effectively.

•Accurately calculates END data as required.

•Prepares a technical sheet with impression, patient, and test information for the physician.

•Accurately completes and distributes reports and billing sheets.

•Provides a safe and comfortable environment for patient.

•Obtains current knowledge on testing procedures.

•Maintains the equipment and consults technicians with troubleshooting technical difficulties.

•Keeps a secured procedure log book.

•Archives procedures to CD for storage.

•Operates computer to obtain electronic medical records.

•Confirms patients and reviews instructions.

•Reschedules patients as needed.

•Orders supplies and keeps shelves stocked.

•Cleans the END lab.

•Follows infection control and safety procedures; consult the PAMC infection prevention with questions.

•Follows PMG customer service protocols while conducting self in a professional manner.

•Works closely with the manager to determine operational plans to meet clinic goals.

•Completes mandatory education requirements and yearly competencies.

•Works cooperatively with co-workers and physician

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Sufficient for certification.
  • Registered with the board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET). Or eligible for certification to become certified within 6 months of hire.
  • Must maintain current BLS or CPR certification.
  • Minimum 10 Sleep related CEUs per year or an average of 30 over 3 years.
