Job Overview
 

Under the general direction of the Payroll Processing Supervisor the incumbent review payroll technician’s weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, monthly leave accruals, monthly union reports for Chugach Government Solutions LLC’s subsidiaries.   Ensures all payroll data has been reviewed for accuracy before payroll closes.

Responsibilities
 

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

• Reviews timesheets with system payroll edit and reviews timesheets with checks for accuracy. Ensures all corrections have been made.
• Reviews and closes payroll once verified all employees accurately paid and GL posting correctly.
• Distributes maintenance from HR to appropriate person.  Reviews/updates all maintenance produced in a timely manner.
• Reviews and sends direct deposits with the Key Total Treasury program.
• Ensures accounting system is populated with current CBA rates by maintaining log and notification to supervisor of changes.
• Reviews monthly union reports and ensures timely processing.
• Reviews leave accrual spreadsheets each pay period.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
 

Mandatory:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years’ experience of payroll processing in a computerized environment.
• Three (3) years’ experience processing payroll input with increasing responsibilities.
• Two (2) years’ accounting equivalent experience may substitute for the three (3) years of payroll processing experience.
• Proficient in the use of spreadsheet programs.
• Knowledge of multi state payrolls.
• Demonstrated intermediate skill in the use of Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook.
