Field Technician II

Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Field Support Supervisor, this position provides a variety of virtual and on-premises client support including purchasing and building computers, installing and de-installing network systems, and providing domain controller services.

Essential Functions

• Troubleshoot, support, and assist clients with technology systems
• Provide maintenance to new and existing technology systems
• Provide clients with an exemplar customer service experience
• Perform duties at the client’s work site
• Provide call-center support to clients
• Assist with field training
Non-Essential Functions
• Ensure employee workstations are fully operational at hire and during employment
• Provide technical support for the company and/or partner events
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • Advanced knowledge of technology systems and application designs • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Mobile Device Management, and Azure AD • Intermediate knowledge of computer system and network functions • Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell, preferred • Knowledge of virtualization systems including VMWare vSphere, preferred • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and within a group • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines and needs

Qualifications • Two to four years; of experience with Microsoft Windows, Mobile Device Management, and Azure AD (use other systems, a 2-year degree may be substituted for experience • Three years experience in technical, analytical, or a related field • Relevant professional certification, preferred
