Position Summary:
As our Administrative Assistant extraordinaire you will provide essential administrative, program coordination, and fiscal/travel support for Academic Programs. Including managing administrative tasks, serving as a key contact point for students and faculty, coordinating departmental activities, scheduling meetings, handling course approvals and reports, advising on syllabus formatting, assisting with form submissions, managing program calendars, and overseeing budgetary processes, procurement, and travel logistics for seminars. The role requires a strong focus on organization, communication, and attention to detail to ensure the smooth operation of academic activities and events.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of progressively responsible office/administrative experience, OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Troth Yeddha' campus in Fairbanks, and flexible on-site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://alaska.edu/jobs/benefits.php.
