Position Summary:
The Department of Business and Public Administration at the University of Alaska Southeast, School of Arts & Sciences, is accepting applications for adjunct faculty members for the upcoming academic year 2023-2024. Experience, education, and/or certification is required in Management, Human Resources, Non-Profit Organizations, Public Administration, International Business, or related business fields. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking professional teaching experience who have a passion for educating others in a specific subject. Adjunct positions are filled on a temporary basis. Duties:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to teach effectively in an online environment.
Knowledge of accepted instructional methods.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Familiar with computer and other technologies for instruction, such as Blackboard.
Preferred Experience & Education:
Teaching experience in different modalities - face-to-face, hybrid, online synchronous and online asynchronous, as well as ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.
Required Experience & Education:
Terminal degree (or its equivalent) as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held
3 years of relevant experience in the field or courses to be taught.
Salary Information:
This is a temporary faculty position. Salary is based on the number of previous semesters teaching experience within the University of Alaska.
