Job Overview

Approximately 100 miles southeast of Fairbanks, Fort Greely provides a truly one-of-a-kind experience to work, live, and play in a scenic Alaskan location with endless opportunities. Fort Greely, Wolf Creek Federal Services, Inc. (WCFSI) provides support for the Missile Defense Command, with a primary focus on maintenance and repair.

Plan procurement actions for all supplies and services in support of contract wide operations on Ft Greely AK. Ensures all purchase actions are performed in accordance with applicable Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR), corporate procurement policy, and Standard Operating Policy and Procedures (SOP).

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Acquire needed supplies and services from mandatory sources of supply as listed in descending order: Government excess, Federal Prison Ind., General Services Administration, Federal Supply Schedules, commercial sources, etc.
  • Ensures procurements are accomplished in accordance with applicable regulations (FAR, corporate procurement policy).
  • Maintain active source of supply listing, government and nongovernmental, for all types of supplies and/or services needed to maintain contract operations.
  • Ensure adherence to requirements (delivery time, quality standards, etc.) of all awarded contracts and subcontracts.
  • Determine fair price and reasonableness of bids received in response to solicitations.
  • Use automated work management systems (i.e., MAXIMO) and other various computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Adherence to government rules and regulations, company policies and contract requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • One (1) year of experience with administrative or purchasing support to a contract or business
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level.
  • Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record as pertinent to the position.
