Personal Banker I - Welcomes customers to the branch and delivers consistent and exceptional service through engaging with customers to build and deepen relationships. Uncovers their banking needs and recommends the best products, services and solutions to meet those needs. The Personal Banker I may direct, coach and mentor branch employees; works closely with the Branch Manager or Operations Supervisor to ensure critical timelines are met, that operational controls are in place and daily branch functions are completed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Two years customer service experience with at least one year of relationship development experience in the financial industry; or three years relational sales experience. Preferred: Knowledge of First National Bank Alaska products and services.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
Knowledge of personal computer operation (monitor, keyboard, mouse), ability to keyboard 35 wpm and operate a 10-key calculator required. Word processing and spreadsheet experience preferred. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as ability to exercise discretion and good judgment when communicating with internal and external customers and all levels of management. Unquestionable integrity and ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive and confidential information.
