Armed Security Officer / EMT III or MICP: ENI (North Slope)
Under the supervision of the Security Captain and, if necessary, under the direction of a licensed medical professional or designated healthcare provider, the remote site Security/Medic Technician performs a variety of security related functions in a remote camp on the North Slope of Alaska, and when necessary, administers emergency medical treatment. Primary duties at this location are security related. Incumbents in this position are required to be firearms licensed, trained and qualified. This is a rotational position, working a two week on / two week off schedule. Flights are provided between Anchorage and the North Slope.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The employee will be required to live and work in a remote and confined workspace for extended periods of time and exposure to work assignments consisting of twelve-hour days and able to work day or night shifts as required. The majority of the work is performed in a remote setting with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities. There may be a lack of immediate access to critical medical services as well as urban community services.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee’s work requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Applicant will be required to successfully complete a post-offer pre-hire physical and Functional Capacity Exam (also known as a fitness for duty test).
