Universal Teller I - Homer Branch

The Universal Teller I position is a very customer service centered, and you would be responsible for processing routine customer transactions adhering to established cash limits and ensuring compliance with established bank procedures and regulatory requirements.

$16.00/hour + DOE Starting

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide excellent service to branch customers; process routine paying and receiving transactions, operate Teller Machines, and balance cash drawer.
  2. Process Automated Teller Machine, mail, and night depository transactions.
  3. Analyze checks and deposits for transaction anomalies and perform regulatory reporting as required. 
  4. Explain, promote, and sell basic products and services, and refer customers to other appropriate areas of the bank for additional expertise.
  5. Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Six months teller experience; or, one year customer service experience and six months of consistent cash handling experience. Preferred: FNBA experience.

SKILLS and ABILITIES
Knowledge of personal computer operation (monitor, keyboard, mouse), ability to keyboard 35 wpm and operate a 10-key calculator and general knowledge of office machines required. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as ability to exercise discretion and good judgment when communicating with internal and external customers and all levels of management. Unquestionable integrity and ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive and confidential information.
