Infrastructure Support Supervisor

UAS IT Services is a fast-paced and fun team that serves the needs of a dynamic and growing university campus. The Infrastructure Support Supervisor is responsible for assigning and resolving tier two and three work orders involving the campus phone system and general desktop support. This position supervises one professional support technician and up to 10 student assistants.

 

Infrastructure Support Supervisor applicants should have the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of personal computer and telephony software and hardware issues, including familiarity with Microsoft and Apple operating systems, replacing personal computer components (RAM, Storage, Displays, etc.,) and configuring Cisco VOIP. Applicants should also be able to supervise and train professional and student employees.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

An associate's degree in a relevant field (i.e. Information Technology or other related field) and 4 years progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

 

Position Details:

 

This position is located on the Juneau campus in Southeast Alaska.
