The UAA/APU Consortium Library is recruiting for a full-time Circulation Clerk - Library Technician 2. This position provides desk support and customer service at the Consortium Library on the UAA main campus.

The UAA/APU Consortium Library supports the educational and research programs of the University of Alaska Anchorage and Alaska Pacific University as well as serving as a major research library for Southcentral Alaska.

The Access Services Department at the Consortium Library is responsible for the maintenance of the library's collection for public access, circulation materials into and out of the library, cash handling and deposits, and providing a first point of contact for general patron questions.

The successful applicant will have excellent customer service skills while being flexible and self-motivated.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year working in or extensively using an academic library.
• Cash register experience.

Position Details:

This position is located on UAA's main campus in Anchorage, AK.
