As an Alarm Technician,, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the vital operations of our campus life safety systems. From troubleshooting low voltage fire alarms to inspecting and documenting various fire and card access systems here at Trothe Yeddha campus as well as traveling to remote campus around the state! Your expertise will be essential in keeping our environment safe and functional.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School graduate or equivalent.
Demonstrate at least one year in a field related to this position (building or equipment maintenance). Knowledge/ experience working on preventive maintenance.
Valid Alaska Driver's License with clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving criteria.

Position Details:

This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/support/prospectiveemployees.php. Salary Information: MSW4 /Step 1 $21.65/hr. (See Article 9.2 in the L6070 Collective Bargaining Agreement, https://www.alaska.edu/hr/labor/labor-relations/local-6070.php#collapse3d13e356).

This position is represented by the Alaska Higher Education Crafts & Trades Employees (L6070).
