Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: COLLEGE STUDENTS: Must be enrolled in an Engineering program at UAF. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits during the current semester year of applying. GPA must be 2.0 or better. HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES (current year of applying to this position): Must have an interest in an engineering field. Must have applied and been accepted to UAF. Must have a GPA of 2.0 or better. Data entry, basic computer skills, willingness to show up to work on time and be a reliable asset to the department. Preferred Experience & Education: None Required Experience & Education:

No formal certification is required. Students should be enrolled in a UAF engineering program or show an interest in engineering from previous experience or other education. Experience with Autocad preferred, but not required.

 

Be enrolled at UAF with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or

Have been enrolled the preceding semester for six or more credit hours and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester for employment between semesters; and

 

Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA, or a newly enrolled student.

Salary Information:

Starting salary - $16.15 with opportunity for advancement.

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
