Full Time Advocate (Graves):

IAC is looking for a Full Time Victim Advocate to join our team. In this position you will have the opportunity to provide crisis intervention, systems advocacy and support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. 

Minimum Qualifications include the availability to work overnights (12am to 730am), an Associates degree in Human Services or closely related field; sufficient job, school or life experience may be used in lieu of the education. The ideal candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills and the ability to be flexible in a fast paced teamwork environment. An advocate will have experience handling sensitive issues in a mature and confidential manner with integrity and compassion, the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles, a commitment to the agency’s mission and goals and the ability to pass a background check.
