PDS Tech is currently seeking a Help Desk Technician for our client in Anchorage, AK
Under general supervision, provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolution to all computers and users by performing question/problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions in a call center environment; clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner; provide one-on-one end-user training as needed; assist Network Technicians and Systems Administrators; troubleshoot network printer problems; pass more complex end-user problems on to Network Technicians and Systems Administrators; maintain helpdesk ticketing system and ensure proper assignment of trouble tickets; conduct hardware and software inventory and reporting; provide end-user support, training and assistance. Perform related work as required.

This is a temporary position. They are looking to augment their IT service desk staff with a full time consultant for at least the next 2 to 6 months and possibly much longer. They had a previous contractor we supplied them. I think the pay rate should be $25-28/hour
