HR Information Systems Specialist

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Specialist is responsible for the definition, development, testing, analysis, and maintenance of new and existing software applications and related database infrastructure for Human Resources (HR). Provides support to customers and trains others in the use of programs.

This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments


1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field; OR the equivalent in other education and/or experience.

2. Two (2) years of full-time experience working with HRIS.

Additional Qualifications for Human Resources Information Systems Specialist II: Meets all qualifications of HRIS Specialist I in addition to the following:

1. Two (2) additional years with primary HRIS responsibility; OR demonstrated proficiency at HRIS Specialist I at SCF.
