Summer Intern - Alaska Children's Trust

Alaska Children's Trust

ALASKA CHILDRENS TRUST - SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Alaska Children’s Trust (ACT) is the preeminent nonprofit in the State of Alaska dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. ACT fulfills three key roles as advocate, convener, and a catalyst. As an advocate, ACT strives to actively influence public policy within political, economic, and social systems and institutions. As a convener, ACT fosters relationships and conversations across the state that result in forward momentum. And as a catalyst, ACT encourages new methodologies and ideas to fight an epidemic that has plagued Alaska for decades.

ACT is seeking an equally dedicated individual for an 8-week paid summer internship to support ACT’s work in preventing child abuse and neglect. The intern will have the opportunity to provide support to key programs like the Alaska Afterschool Network and Alaska Resilience Initiative, assist with advocacy and community outreach, and work on fund development and communications.
