This full time, benefitted position oversees the operations of the museum’s exhibit gallery and store. Responsibilities include managing all retail functions of the Museum Store, overseeing a Museum Assistant working in the store, assisting local artists to promote the production, sale, and marketing of artwork inspired by the Alutiiq heritage, developing opportunities for tourism, managing and supporting select events, assisting visitors, and maintaining public spaces. This position also monitors and arranges events for the Alutiiq Ancestors’ Memorial, a park adjacent to the museum.
