Now Accepting Applications for Summer Landscaping Positions.

NeighborWorks® Alaska is now accepting applications for our lawn maintenance crew. This position works 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, we do not work on weekends or major holidays. APPLY NOW for positions starting in May and ending in late summer or early fall. Please specify on your application if you are interested in starting sooner or working later into the fall season. Any interested applicant must be available to work all summer. Start/end date flexibility and requests for time off will be considered on a case by case basis and approved whenever possible.
Duties include: following the direction of a crew leader to mow lawns, pulling weeds, pruning trees, planting shrubs, spreading mulch or top soil, raking leaves, watering lawns, picking up litter, and other similar landscape maintenance tasks. If you like working outside, are hardworking, easy to get along with, dependable, honest and willing to learn then you may be a good fit for our team. Being on time to work with a good positive attitude is of high importance. Job training will be provided for candidates that will fit in well with our fun and fast-paced crew. This job is great for students! Experience is not required. A pre-employment criminal background check and drug/alcohol test will be required.
