          JOB DESCRIPTION

Department:    Base Supply Stores

Location:         Various

Reports to:      Manager and/or Assistant Manager

 

II.            STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

To provide customer service with customer recognition to everyone.

 

III.          RESPONSIBILITY FOR WORK OF OTHERS

None

 

IV.          BUSINESS COMMUNICATION

Requires excellent communication skills.

 

V.             SUPERVISION REQUIRED

Daily

 

  1. EDUCATION REQUIRED

High school graduate with one year relevant work experience.

 

  • TRAINING AND SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Basic retail knowledge.  Accuracy with computerized checkout systems.

 

VIII.      EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Must have interpersonal skills dealing with and communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers and management. Team player.

 

IX.          TRAVEL REQUIRED

None

 

  1. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for all customer service functions with customer recognition and interface the most critical element.
  • Accurate computerized checkout
  • Requesting and identifying material from the warehouse and shelf stocking.
  • Store cleanliness both in and outside.
  • Other duties as requested by Manager and/or Assistant Manager.
