Position: Proposal Manager

Location: Anchorage, AK

Reports To: CEO

Position Summary:

The Proposal Manager’s primary function will be to manage the proposal process with guidance and assistance from the General Managers and Program Managers from capture assessment review through proposal submission.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate and chair weekly BD review meetings with Regional Offices and Corporate Staff.
  • Write, organize and compile proposals to acquire new business by translating customer requirements and solicitation into compelling proposals and responses.
  • Completes deliverables on time, as required by internal and external customers.
  • Provide technical writing support upon request for proposals, request for information and marketing.
  • Implements and documents proposal processes to ensure compliance with the Request for Proposal (RFP).
  • Manage the proposal development process and adhere to timelines and proposal due dates.
  • Manage all details of the RFP process and workflow, including coordinating all responses to insure appropriateness of response. This will be obtained in a timely and accurate fashion. Accountable for outcomes.
  • Assist the General Managers with identifying pipeline opportunities relevant to the past performance, organizational direction and business strategies of the companies.
  • Maintain compliance for various documents and materials associated with business development activities.
  • Assist General Manager with compiling and maintaining a library of past performance
  • Develop and maintain accurate, current database(s) of industry partners
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all MTNT policies and documents.
  • Other duties as assigned by the CEO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional proposal writing experience in the federal government arena is required
  • Proven experience leading and winning proposals in Federal civilian market.
  • Track record of success in working in and influencing a fast-paced, fast-growing organization.
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of MS Office
