This position is local to Anchorage, AK and has a hybrid work schedule.
Summary:
Under general supervision, supports compliance programs by assisting with surveys, audits, and background checks to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, and aids in process improvements. Prepares and presents compliance data to HR leadership, working closely with external partners on compliance and accreditation, managing regulatory readiness, and advising on compliance matters. Manages compliance records, updates reports, and identifies compliance issues, coordinating with internal teams to uphold standards during onboarding and pre-employment.
Responsibilities:
Senior Compliance Analyst
Leads the accreditation and compliance programs in accordance with compliance standards.
Lead on regulatory readiness, audits, compliance investigations, or other related activities. Determine the appropriate schedule and frequency and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Prepare reports of compliance data results, presenting and explaining findings to HR leadership. Maintain records of compliance activities and information needed to file various reports.
Consult with the legal department advising HR leadership on compliance matters.
Verify that HR Operations procedures are documented, implemented, and communicated.
Partner with the Shared Services manager with implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures throughout the organization.
Act as an HR point of contact during auditing processes. Cultivate positive interpersonal relationships with clinical and administrative leadership as well as external partners.
Enforce organizational compliance standards by ensuring external partners adhere to policies and clear candidate backgrounds for onboarding.
Oversee the continuous updating and management of internal programs related to licensure and certification requirements. Collaborate with ANMC Administration to ensure seamless tracking of licensure and certification requirements, proactively preventing any lapses or compliance gaps.
As the Local Agency Security Officer (LASO), partner with the Department of Public Safety on fingerprint background clearances, biennial and triennial audits, driving process improvements for faster results and compliance.
Lead the tracking and compliance management of ICPA covered positions, ensuring all candidate backgrounds meet eligibility and regulatory requirements.
First line in resolving compliance issues promptly and with diplomacy and discretion.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Education, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology Business, or related field. Progressively responsible professional/exempt work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Non-Supervisory – Five (5) years of progressively responsible human resources or health care experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
MINIMUM CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATION
Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS), Security Awareness training: General role, within 30 days of employment start date.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Experience in the Alaska Tribal Health System.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to work outside the traditional work schedule. May be called out to work off-shift in emergency situations.
According to the needs of the organization, some incumbents in this job class may be required to obtain specific technical certifications and programming language skills.
Annual salary range based on education, training, and experience: $66,300 - $82,000
