Philanthropy Northwest seeks a Director of Grantmaking to oversee and manage PNW’s intermediary work, specifically the final phase of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Thriving Communities Program. The Director will lead a team of three program officers and collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners to equitably and effectively distribute federal funds supporting environmental protection projects across four northwest states.
The Director of Grantmaking is responsible for oversight of PNW’s grantmaking processes, including the selection of sub-recipients, pre-award processes, and monitoring of sub-recipient awards. The Director will ensure effective communication and guidance between program officers and sub-recipients, and in collaboration with the Director of Finance and Grants Administration, will ensure sub-awards remain in compliance with EPA regulations.
This full-time position is an 18-month Limited Time Employment. The Director must reside in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, or Washington State. Carolyn Ho Consulting is supporting PNW with this search. Annual salary range is $140,000-$160,000. This is an 18-month Limited Time Employment.
