🌿 Job Opportunity: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Green Acres LLC is seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistants to provide in-home care for a quadriplegic client located on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway—just 12 minutes from Wasilla or 6 minutes from Palmer.

🕒 Available Shifts

• Day Shifts:

  • Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

• Overnight Shifts:

  • Saturday through Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• On-Call Opportunities:

  • Always hiring for on-call staff to fill in on short notice

🧡 Responsibilities

• Safe use of a Hoyer lift

• Dressing and personal hygiene support

• Range of motion exercises

• Catheter care

• Light housekeeping

• Transportation to appointments and errands

✅ Requirements

• Must pass a background check

• Valid Alaska driver’s license

• Willingness to work in a home with dogs

• Comfortable with outdoor activities and mobility support

💵 Compensation & Training

• Paid on-the-job training (terms apply)

• Starting wage: $20/hour upon successful completion of training

🏡 Work Environment

This role takes place in the client’s personal residence, located on the ground floor of a two-story home. The client enjoys gardening, outdoor activities, and has access to a mobility van for errands and appointments.
