What does Brice Equipment LLC do?

Brice Equipment provides electrical, mechanical, and equipment services to support oil, gas, and construction operations throughout Alaska. Our fleet includes 400+ pieces of equipment designed for extreme environments, ranging from heavy construction machinery to mobile support equipment. What can you expect?

As the Warehouseman, you will work onsite in Prudhoe Bay, AK and will play a key role in managing and organizing general parts and supplies for the company. You will be responsible for performing various tasks related to receipts, storage, organization, distribution of parts and supplies. Record keeping for parts and supply and related data entry will be an integral part of this position.

 

How will you do it?

  • Process inventory for use in the repair shop or consumable supplies for the facility.
  • Assist with parts and supplies receiving and stocking.
  • Organize equipment parts and supplies throughout the facility while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Inspect the quality/quantity of parts and other goods received for damage or defects and report to management as necessary.
  • Ensure all materials and goods are stored properly to avoid hazards.
  • Perform data entry to track equipment parts and supplies.
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipments incoming and outgoing.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform job-related errands as needed.
  • Perform general laborer duties such as cleaning and maintaining the facility as directed.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position will not have any supervisory responsibilities.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of construction equipment parts and supply.
  • Ability to operate standard business computers utilizing business applications; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn the TEXADA software.
  • Ability to read and understand packing slips, shipping labels, inventory sheets, and other written materials related to the position.
  • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
  • Ability to actively listen and proactively request clarification when needed.
  • Ability to productively participate in meetings.
  • Ability to write clearly and informatively.

Who is Brice Equipment LLC looking for?

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • The ability to work a rotating schedule on the North Slope which is three weeks on, and three weeks off is required.
  • Valid state driver’s license and must be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Brice Equipment’s Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass a drug, driving, and background screening.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years’ previous experience as a Warehouseman or similar role preferred.
  • Two years’ previous experience working in Prudhoe Bay/North Slope preferred.

 

Working Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud due to the running of various machines. Much of the work will be conducted outdoors. The position itself requires the ability to work a rotating schedule on the North Slope, three weeks on and three weeks off.
