This is a temporary, 0-36 hours per week position, competitive pay, free training and educational opportunities, that includes learning the Ahtna language and culture.

Who We Are Seeking: A self-motivated, customer-service focused, ethical, professional, Advocate/Driver to provide client advocacy and safe and reliable transportation to and from medical, dental, vision, behavioral health appointments, and non-emergent outreach activities along some of the most scenic road systems throughout the Matanuska-Susitna Valley and Anchorage.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
Certificates and Licenses: A valid Alaska Driver’s license and the ability to be insured on CVTC’s vehicle insurance policy is a requirement of this position. Must be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Background Check: This position requires you to complete and pass a pre-employment state and federal background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
Hiring Preferences: As allowed in P.L. 93-638, preference for employment will be given to Alaska Native and American Indian peoples. CVTC also applies family and local hiring preferences.
