POSITION DESCRIPTION: CONTRACTS COMPLIANCE AUDITOR

Position Summary:

Evaluate, analyze, and audit financial and operational compliance contractual with special projects.  

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure that the effectiveness and adequacy of compliance and controls of Alyeska’s contractors are independently appraised and communicated.
  • Responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on complex financial, operational and compliance contract audit engagements and special projects.
  • Develops audit programs for the testing of controls, executing the audit program, documenting findings, and providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Performs audit assignments to ensure that key deliverables are completed within the approved budget and scheduled.
  • Works in accordance with audit standards, plans, budgets, and schedules. 
  • Adhere to Alyeska’s Pipeline and Chugach Alaska Services policies, procedures, regulations, and code of conduct.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Professional Associations):

 

Mandatory Requirements

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, management or related.
  • Previous experience in auditing, accounting and/or contracting.
  • Current Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

 

Preferred Requirements

 

  • Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting, management or related.
  • CPA/CIA.
