Cook Inlet Region, Inc is seeking a Creative Traffic Manager to join our Corporate Communications team. This position is based in Anchorage, AK.

General Function
In alignment with CIRI’s mission and values, the Creative Traffic Manager manages project life-cycles and processes within the communications department. This includes overseeing the work-flow of creative projects, ensuring projects are appropriately assigned, completed on time, within budget and to the required quality. This position also serves as a point of contact for stakeholders.
Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities)
- Evaluate creative requests and assignments, create project plans and budgets, assign project teams and deliverables and manage all aspects of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams; delegate project tasks and collaborate with internal team members and external consultants to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensure timely delivery of all initiatives and prioritize projects based on critical impact on the business needs.
- Allocate and deploy resources effectively to meet project demands and optimize team productivity.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, implement solutions to keep projects on track and to avert or mitigate project risks.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with project leads and stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Ensure all creative outputs meet high-quality standards and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring efficient use of funds and adherence to financial constraints.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Generate regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and outcomes to inform strategic decision-making.
- Organize and maintain project documentation and records for easy access and reference, ensuring comprehensive project management of all incoming work.
- Organize and maintain all creative assets, ensuring accessibility and version control.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients; coordinate kickoff calls and project meeting schedule; communicate project status, timelines, issues and changes; provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to track project budgets and identify cost variations.
- Generate regular reports on project status, resource utilization and key performance indicators to leadership.
- Perform quality control checks and provide feedback as needed.
- Perform other duties as appropriate and as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Understand CIRI’s mission, values and strategic focus areas and incorporate knowledge into daily activities.
- Intermediate project management skills; ability to successfully pass through the phases of the project management life cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
- Intermediate knowledge of project management software and tools.
- Intermediate knowledge of design principles and creative process best practices to effectively collaborate with creative team members.
- Ability to budget creative projects and adhere to budgetary constraints.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff, affiliated-company employees as well as outside business associates; exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others.

Physical Abilities
- Sufficient fine motor skills for use of computers, calculators with an ability to withstand repetitive keyboarding for extended periods of time.
- Visual and communication abilities adequate to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to kneel, bend and twist at the waist on an occasional basis.
- Ability to reach below shoulder height with regular frequency (desk position) and at or above shoulder height on occasion.
- Ability to push, pull, carry and lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis, and greater weights on an occasional basis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or project management preferred
- Five years’ experience in creative traffic management or project management
- Experience using Canva, Hootsuite or Adobe Illustrator preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
