Summary:
Under general direction, oversees the day-to-day administration of ANTHC's benefit programs. This includes primary responsibility for the administration of all leave policies and procedures, answers employee benefit questions, and conducts compliance audits. Serves as the primary contact for benefit related employee questions, and coordinates internally with teams for employee questions related to those areas of expertise. Assists with the administration of the annual benefit open enrollment process and maintains primary responsibility for ad-hoc education materials and presentations throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related documentation.
Maintain up-to-date employee records and benefits databases.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits plans, eligibility, and claims.
Escalate complex issues to senior team members or vendors as needed.
Support new hire orientation by providing benefits-related information.
Ensure compliance with ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other federal and state regulations.
Assist with preparing reports and tracking required documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
Support Open Enrollment activities, including employee communications and data entry.
Assist in creating benefits education materials to improve employee understanding of available plans.
Identify opportunities to enhance benefits processes and improve efficiency.
Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field. Experience may be substituted for education on the following basis: one year of relevant, full-time professional experience is equivalent to one year of college education.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Non-supervisory - Three (3) years of experience working with employee benefits programs.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATION
Certified Employee Benefits Specials (CEBS), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to work outside the traditional work schedule.
Depending on education and work experience, the hourly pay range is: $27.00 - $33.00
