This is a term-funded academic year position to begin August 2025. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, with the initial one-year term and the potential for renewal, based on performance and institutional needs.

 

Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their academic preparation, past teaching experience, and potential for providing high quality instruction to students.

 

Seeking a candidate with expertise in curriculum development and strong written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in academic advising, working with diverse and non-traditional students, and teaching in various formats, including face-to-face, hybrid, and fully asynchronous courses.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Minimum qualifications for this position is a Master's degree in Communication. Quality Matters trained and possess the QM IYOC Certification.

 

Position Details:

 

This position is located on the UAA Kodiak College campus in Kodiak, and flexible on-site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations.
