The Financial Analysis Manager works for the subsidiary to lead a variety of accounting related special projects.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties & Functions:
- Work directly with subsidiary president to analyze contracts and implement strategies to maximize profits.
- Serve as primary interface between the subsidiary contracts and CGS Financial staff for non-routine and problem issues.
- Ensure subsidiary contracts without dedicated financial support are obtaining the routine and ad hoc Financial services required.
- Through financial analysis, identify trends in contract costs and/or profits for early insights.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Provide Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) support to operations and subsidiary president.
- Assist in the preparation of annual, mid-year and monthly forecasts for CGS, LLC subsidiary budgets.
- Review future work budget from CRM and enter budgets for new contracts as they are awarded.
- Work with business development on cost models to design a finance structure best suited for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare Service Contract Act (SCA) wage determination request for equitable adjustment.
- Prepare and review requests for equitable adjustment.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing various DCAA audit requests.
- Provide technical direction, guidance and ongoing support to contract site finance staff.
- Provide technical direction, guidance and ongoing support to CGS Finance Staff.
- Gather and provide cost information to Business Development as needed.
- Support the transition and completion of the annual Incurred Cost Submissions to the Job Cost Department.
- Conduct site visits and compliance audits for contract site accounting locations.
- Help identify areas that need attention as the Corporation grows. Help create procedures and develop solutions and automate processes.
- Perform high-level analysis of various financial issues as assigned.
- Special Projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and five (5) years of progressively responsible accounting experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience as follows:
- Two-year Accounting degree, plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
- Nine (9) years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a management capacity.
- Five (5) years of Federal Government Contracting Cost Accounting.
- In depth knowledge of government contracting laws, rules, and regulations including the Federal Acquisition Regulars, (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
- Ability to travel with periodic extended work hours.
