Position Summary:

This position provides AutoCAD drafting of master drawings of post construction as-built work, and design drawings and sketches as requested by engineers.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Use computer-aided design and drafting software to develop drawings and plans requested by engineers.
• Meet with engineers to discuss design ideas.
• Provide general support and expertise as requested.
• Adhere to Alyeska’s Pipeline and Chugach Alaska Services policies, procedures, regulations, and code of conduct.

Other Job Responsibilities:

• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Professional Associations):

Mandatory Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate Degree (or higher).
• Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience working with AutoCAD and Raster images.
• Two (2) or more years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Experience with Smart Drawings.
• Ability to follow and apply drafting standards including understanding of layers, layouts and scaling.
• Knowledge and experience with raster images.
• Current Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Preferred Requirements

• Previous TAPS experience.
