Summary:
Under limited supervision, writes, and edits company-wide communications across all mediums in support of organizational goals and objectives. Responsible for editing marketing copy, external and internal communications, presentations, newsletters, white papers, and research matter, while maintaining consistent brand identity.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
· Knowledge of applicable technologies.
· Knowledge of public relations and mass communication techniques.
· Knowledge of business English, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
· Skill in developing public relations materials.
· Skill in oral and written communication.
· Skill in developing internal corporate communications materials.
· Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.
· Skill in presenting information to executive level management and external audiences.
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field from an accredited college or university. Progressively responsible professional work-related experience, education, or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Non-supervisory - Five (5) years of corporate communications and/or public relations experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE QUALIFICATION
Requires the use of personal vehicle. Requires proof of insurance and a valid Alaska driver’s license.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Experience in the Alaska Tribal Health System.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to work outside the traditional work schedule. May be called out to work off-shift in emergency situations.
Depending on education and work experience, the annual salary range is: $72,500 - $90,000
