We are hiring for all positions and all shifts at a 24-hour a day shelter for people experiencing homelessness in Anchorage. Evening, Overnight and Day Shifts are available.

Guest Services Staff ($18/hr.) are front line workers that get to support the ongoing needs of the shelter and guests within its walls. Staff support client intakes, provide supportive services to guests, ensure the health and safety of guests within the shelter, and support ongoing operations and cleanliness. This is an entry level job, and CSS is willing to train inexperienced people who want to contribute in this environment.

Lead Guest Services Staff ($22/hr.) more experienced front-line workers that support shelter functions, and have supervisory authority when a manager is not on shift.

Shelter Shift Manager: ($27/hr. + DOE) Provides shift supervision during assigned shift (day, swing, overnight). Typically manages a team of seven staff working on the floor. Responsible for shift scheduling, employee oversight, adherence to policies and procedures etc.

Case Manager ($22/ hr. + DOE): Supports clients in achieving their identified goals on their pathway towards permanent stability. Works as part of a clinical team.

Case Manager Supervisor ($26/hr.+ DOE): Supports the case management team in service delivery. Assigns work, ensures compliance with grant funds and expense authorization.

Shelter Director ($37+/hr. DOE) Responsible for overall shelter operations, grant reporting, staff supervision, ultimately responsible for all components of service delivery within the shelter.

CSS staff receive 4.5 weeks of paid time off, twelve paid holidays, employer training, employer sponsored health coverage and more.
