Summary:

Under general supervision, Intern will perform assignments in support of the department assigned. Interns should perform duties that strengthen their knowledge and experience in the field of their internship as well as prepare them to become full members of the ANTHC workforce. This level of internship is designed for interns that are at or near completion of academic studies in a highly technical or other complex discipline. This level of internship is designed for interns that are at or near completion of academic studies in a highly technical or other complex discipline.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

·         Knowledge of customer service concepts and practices.

·         Knowledge of computers and comfortable with their use, familiarity with standard Microsoft office suite of applications.

·         Knowledge of general office or business etiquette.

·         Skill in oral and written communication.

·         Skill in problem solving.

·         Skill in managing own work and completing assignments on time.

MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

An Associate’s Degree in a technical or other complex discipline. An equivalent combination work experience, training, and education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education. The Recruiting Bulletin may include specific required coursework or grade averages.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

Non-supervisory – Two (2) years of experience in technical or complex field required by Recruiting Bulletin.

An equivalent combination training and/or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

This level of internship is reserved for interns in highly complex fields in which the labor market requires this level of pay. In order to use this internship level, the senior director of the division and the senior director of human resources must approve the position recruitment.
